Brand new membership today and the lady helping me was fantastic. She didn't skip a beat and had the best attitude and warmest smile. I was able to find everything I needed and got through the line and checkout without incident. To top it off, my girlfriend and I sat down and enjoyed a nice slice of pizza before leaving. Everyone was friendly and the free samples along the way were choice. Also the people handing out the free samples were characters in their own right. Top marks Costco.
I'm not a member, but was taken there by a friend. The place was very busy. The selection was absolutely wonderful we even bought some items on this trip. We're going to get a membership this year and and become regular Shoppers at this store.
Costco has great deals on many things, but limited selection (as with all discount bulk stores). Costco's Kirkland brand rarely disappoints to equal or exceed name brand quality! Produce is higher quality and fresher than Sam's produce, in my experience, but still frustratingly hit or miss (significant enough to warrant -1 star). Nevertheless, excellent customer service, and quick checkout even at the busiest times. We figure we save hundreds of dollars a year on grocery, plus even more on non-grocery items such as tires, appliances, and clothes.
UPS Costco for the variety you don't see in North Dakota. Although other stores are catching up. May check out Sam's again just to see what varieties might be there. I know Costco chooses best sellers so that inventories never lag. So choices between two similar products seldom exist. But whatever we choose is always good.
I love this place! Always clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. They offer their own brand items that are of very good quality as well as major brand items in bulk at great prices.
